FTF Trucks Xiffix Special Trailer Rent B.V.

Due to its special affiliation with FTF trucks, Xiffix also has 2 special FTF trucks: a 4×2 tractor unit for everyday work and the removal and collection of semi-trailers and a special 8×4 heavy goods tractor unit. Both tractor units were completely restored after purchase, which means that each are definitely among the finest and best-restored FTF trucks in the Netherlands.

Particulars

• One of the very last FTF trucks produced
• Converted from a motor truck to a tractor unit
• Made completely suitable for shunting work by the construction of a continuous power supply, a PTO system and an electrically adjustable fifth-wheel coupling
• The tractor unit was then sold to Greving Transport of Groningen. In 2002, Xiffix bought the tractor unit via a dealer. It was not until 2003 that the tractor unit was finished and it could finally be brought into action

• Hydraulically-controlled rear axle
• Converted from v6 manually-controlled to v8 automatic
• Only 4 tractor units of this type have been produced in total
• Heavy 10-tonne front axle and 24-tonne tridem axle
• In 1991, the tractor unit was then sold again to Jacbo Palen in Nijmegen. This company then sold the tractor unit to Van Halteren Infra and in 2003, Xiffix bought the tractor unit from Van Halteren. Once the tractor unit had been collected, it was also completely restored.
